CV Write

This option is for people who don’t have a CV of any description and we need to write one from scratch.

There are just 3 steps to getting your new CV:

Step 1. Clicking here to email us for an information form.

Step 2. Send us the form back and we send you your new CV as a copyright protected PDF file.

Step 3. If you like it you pay for it and we send it to you as a fully editable Word document.

And don’t forget – we’ll make as many amendments to this version of your CV as you need.

CV writing is a real skill and requires an in-depth understanding of what an employer or recruiter is looking for when they shortlist for interview. We will write your CV as though we are writing an advert but the product is you.

Our aim is to produce a powerful document that will give the recruiter the information they want in a way that makes them act on what they see. When an employer gets dozens, if not hundreds, of CV’s for one job, your CV needs to stand out from the crowd.

We will send you an information form for you to complete as best you can and this will form the basis of your CV. We then write your CV and email it to you for approval.

If you are happy with the work we have done you can make payment and we send you a copyright free version to use as you wish. Alternatively you can stop the process at this point with no obligation.

So how do we produce a CV that’s compelling to an employer? When we start writing your CV we think “advert” and focus on what you can offer the employer.

When reviewing applicants for a job the employer or recruiter knows what they are looking for and they process CVs in a number for stages :-

Stage 1: Is it longer than 3 pages? Not got time to read it. Goes in the “No” pile.

Stage 2: No profile or list of skills on the front page. Not got time to find them. Goes in the “No” pile.

Stage 3: CV is like a story with big blocks of text. Too difficult to read. Goes in the “No” pile.

Those CVs left will now get looked at in more depth, and the recruiter will actually start to read them to see if they match the basic profile they are working to.

Remember, this person is either in a recruitment agency or in HR, and they are working to a written brief – if you don’t match it; you’re in that “No” pile.

If you match their brief and your CV shows that you have achieved something in your career then you may get an interview.

Always remember – a CV should be written to get you an interview. Nothing else.
